  1. AI/ML-enabled inverse device design; computer vision in materials discovery and device design
  2. Monolayer TMDC-based quantum bits (qubits); valleytronics : theory and experiments
  3. 2D material-based optoelectronic devices; sensors
  4. Wide band-gap semiconductor based electronic devices and optoelectronic devices
  5. Implantable, wireless drug level monitors (collaboration with neurosurgeons)
